General Information

Is the festival accessible to all ages?

The festival is 18+. A government issued photo ID will be required at the entrance.

When is the event?

Arrivals 2022 will be held on August 28.

Will the be lockers available?

Yes, there will be lockers on site. If you don’t want to have to lug your belongings around, the lockers will be accessible for everyone. They are 12″ x 12″ x 18″ and in each locker there are USB ports to charge your phone. More details to come.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, the festival is on! Dress accordingly to the weather conditions. It is possible that extreme weather conditions may force us to pause a performance. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know if this happens!

Will reentries and exits be allowed during the festival?

No, there will be no readmission to the site.

Safety and accessibility

Will there be security on site?

Yes, there will be security guards on site at all times. You will be able to contact them if there is a problem.

Is the site accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the Arrivals Festival is accessible to anyone who has difficulty moving around permanently or temporarily (limb in a cast or injury preventing mobility) and who uses a manual or electric wheelchair, scooter, four-wheeler, multi-purpose cane or white cane, crutches, walker, guide dog or service dog.

However, you will have to move in the sand, so it may be more difficult for some people.

What is the information about cannabis?

It is possible to possess 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent in a public place. Only the Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) can sell cannabis at retail in Quebec, which means that it is forbidden to possess cannabis from another source. In addition, persons under 21 years of age are prohibited from possessing cannabis. No cannabis sales are permitted on site.

What items are allowed on the site?

The following items are allowed on the site. No other objects will be accepted, no exceptions.

  • Digital camera (except professional cameras with lenses larger than 2.5″ or any other interchangeable lens);
  • Disposable camera ;
  • 1 empty water bottle or water bottle bag (hydration bag) per person (water points on site);
  • Sunscreen (maximum size 250 ml – no flammable sprays);
  • Small backpack/bag, 16″ x 16″ maximum (All bags will be searched. To gain quicker entry to the site, come WITHOUT your bag);
  • Beach towel and blanket;
  • Raincoat;
  • Small umbrellas;
  • Cushion with backrest without rigid frames;
  • Sealed snacks (ex: soft bars);
  • Lighters and matches;
  • Cigarettes (packages must be complete and sealed);
  • Vaporizers (external refills or liquids are not permitted);
  • Handmade banners/flags and signs (no metal or wooden posts).
    All SQDC products are permitted, but must be in original packaging and have the government seal intact (this includes pre-rolled joints and capsules. Maximum of 30g per person. 

All prohibited items will be confiscated. We therefore recommend that you do not bring them on site to avoid any inconvenience.
